GraphPad Pro - Currently Under Development
GraphPad Pro will be targeted to professional contractors and businesses needing to produce accurate field drawings and design changes and relaying that information back to other team members. While GraphPad will be adequate for typical home use - GraphPad Pro will focus on features that enable businesses take full advantage of the iPad as a professional tool. GraphPad Pro is currently under development and I am eager to hear suggestions from contractors and professionals on how I can enhance my product to meet their needs.
Product Direction
While GraphPad will be focused on the consumer market and will ideally give user's everything they need to do home improvement projects, GraphPad Pro will be focused on providing features necessary for professional contractor's and businesses to use the iPad on site to create design drawings, provide work estimates and communicate design changes. To do this will require quite a bit more then simply the ability to draw - and even more to the point - businesses and contractor's will typically have dedicated CAD systems to do complex project designs. Understanding how the iPad fits in as a tool for businesses is fundamental in deciding which features should be emphasized in the development of GraphPad Pro. This page will be dedicated to what my current priorities are, and I invite those interested to respond with their own comments and suggestions.

Significant improvements in how Text is captured and handled. Company specific document templates (currently under development)
GraphPad Pro is being designed as an integral part of an overall business Application currently in the planning stages. GraphPad Pro will incorporate a companies customized document template, comprising of both GraphPad Drawing pages and individual forms, so the completed GraphPad document has everything necessary to submit a bid or proposal including the companies logo and information.
Industry Specific Libraries:
One of the key features of GraphPad Pro will be the availability of Industry Specific Libraries. Having the exact symbol or feature at the tip of your finger can make the difference between an interesting concept and an indispensable tool. Help me turn GraphPad Pro into the product you've always needed by submitting sample of your proposals, drawings and other documentation that you'd like to create using the iPad.
Color as a way to communicate:
GraphPad and GraphPad Pro were not create as vector drawing applications, but were created to communicate design information between contractors and engineers. Color is a significant factor in that communication and a particular color may have a specific industry meaning. Currently, GraphPad Pro has a color palette that includes 11 basic colors with Orange being reserved to indicate 'Active Objects' in the application.
